Funded startups

Find product-market fit. Build the commercial foundations around it.

Funding creates room to build. It does not tell you who will buy, why they will choose you or how the next sale becomes repeatable. I help funded startups connect those questions to a practical commercial plan.

You might recognise this.

  • You have interest in the product but no repeatable way to turn it into revenue.
  • Positioning changes depending on who is explaining the business.
  • Founder-led sales are taking time away from building the company.
  • The team needs a go-to-market plan and pipeline it can explain to investors.

What we work on.

We test assumptions about the customer, offer, message and route to market. Alongside that, we build the operating foundations a growing company needs: processes, CRM, data, reporting and clear ownership.

  • Customer and ideal-customer-profile work grounded in buyer behaviour.
  • Positioning, brand and messaging that explain what the product does for the buyer.
  • Go-to-market priorities, pipeline design and the sales processes behind them.
  • CRM, data and reporting set up so decisions rest on evidence.
  • Clear ownership and a working rhythm the team can scale.

The aim.

A clearer view of the market, a more consistent story and a commercial approach you can test and improve. Product-market fit has to be shown through evidence. No consultant can promise it for you.

How the engagement starts.

We begin with the challenge, the evidence you already have and the decisions you need to make. From there we agree the scope and whether you need focused support or ongoing commercial leadership.

Questions

Can you help before we have a repeatable pipeline?

Yes. The work can start with customer understanding and positioning, alongside the processes, CRM and reporting needed to test and build a pipeline.

Is this fractional CCO support or a project?

Usually a monthly retainer, with me working as fractional CCO or a hands-on extension of your team. A defined project is also possible. The right shape depends on the problem, the team and how much hands-on support is needed, and we agree it before starting.

Do you guarantee product-market fit or a funding round?

No. I help build and test the commercial foundations. Market response and funding decisions are not outcomes anyone should promise on your behalf.

What is missing from your commercial foundations?

A first conversation about the challenge and whether I can help.
